Fiber installation closes lanes at Smelter Avenue roundabout - The Electric

Utility work will cause some road closures this week.

TDS Telecom is installing fiber optic cable throughout the city.

The construction activity will require lane closures at the roundabout at Division Road and Smelter Avenue, according to the city public works department.

TDS starts construction on new fiber network [2023]

On Nov. 6, the southbound lane on Division Road leaving the roundabout will be closed.

On Nov. 7-8, the west side of the roundabout will be closed entering and exiting the roundabout.

City considering new fees for fiber cable installation [2022]

The closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
